I became the #1 Amazon reviewer for non-fiction quite by accident.  Just as Amazon was starting the reviewer feature, I had in hand two books I had written, each with 150 books with annotated paragraphs for a total of 300, in hand.  These are books I had read over the preceding 10 years.  I loaded thus of on a week-end back in the day, and was within a few months of voting by readers, in the top 1000.  In combination with an invitation to speak to European parliamentarians and their chiefs of staff in Germany (I had to read 50 books to calm myself and feel prepared), this hooked me.  I spend about $5000 a year on books, 95% at Amazon, 5% at airport bookstores, and it has literally saved my sanity as I have watched Dick Cheney destroy the Republic these past eight years.  Most unuusually, it is Dick Cheney to whom I give thanks for also being Amazon reviewer #32 across the board.  Normally fiction, music, and DVD reviewers dominate the top 200 spots.  I attribute this to America being in search of answers, and finding my summative reviews useful as a “Notes” that allow a reader to absorb an entire literature overnight in summary form, and then picking the one best book to buy.

1)  The list of categories and special collections in which I read

2)  A table of the last 1000 or so reviews sorted by threat and other categories such as strategy.  If there are voluneers out there willing to spend some time adding books I have reviewed but not listed, not only would I be thankful, but I would gladly offer a set of our books, including the latest, COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE: Creating a Prosperous World at Peace, to anyone doing 100 books for ease of access by others.

The final nail in Google’s coffin was driven in by Steve Arnold in his very expensive but very worthwhile Google 2.0: The Calculating Predator. My review of that book and my letters to the eight top CEOs threatened by Google, and the four Nations that could bury Google, are provided herewith.

I thought Chambers was ignoring me because he was–as is the case with IBM and others–sharing the prevailing view that Google is a search engine that sells advertising. Nothing could be further from the truth. Google is Web 3.0 as a dictatorship. Their patents for programmable search engines that show any search query what someone else has paid to assure being seen–never mind the ethics, relevance, etcetera–are what persuaded me that we must put Google down. Their computational mathematics are worthwhile, but need adult supervision and very strong regulatory ethical oversight.

With CISCO, whose Application Oriented Network (AON) I am a huge fan of, to he point of pleading with Chambers via FedEx three times to implement Craig Brown’s brilliant idea of a server-router that is cradle to cradle reusable and also able to give every individual AON content protection, sharing, and routing rules at the point of creation, I thought they just did not get it. Now, I realize they do get it, and Chambers has decided that CISCO is going to be part of the Empire of Evil (EVE). He joins Larry Page, Sergey Brin, and Eric Schmidt in the very small club of those who think they can control and monetize cyberspace the way that political elites have controlled and looted the natural resources of the planet.

My next post will point to my Amazon reviews and why I think that Howard Zinn has it right, We are a power no government, no organization, can suppress. However, Google and CISCO can do a great deal of damage in the next couple of years (as can any of the three Presidential candidates, all totally entrenched in the corrupt two-party spoils systems that denied access to voting, debates, and money for all other parties).

This blog, which over time will invite like-minded spirits to have full blogging privileges, is dedicated to the proposition that there is plenty of everything for all. This is why I was the financial angel for Earth Intelligence Network for its first two years, and am proud to be in the company of the 23 other co-founders who represent a cross-section of what We the People are capable of.

PS Google makes one dollar for every $10 million of our money they invest in research & development that is aimed at nothing less than a monopoly of banking, communications, data storage, search, retrieval, and visualization, entertainment, and publishing.
